Breaking news!!!!!!!

ELDON LAUGHED!  It was so cute!  let me start by saying he tried to laugh yesterday!  Bristol goes to bed at 8pm and I usually start feeding Eldon around 7:30-8pm.  So he usually finishes up around 8:30-9pm and then he goes to bed.   Since he has reflux I have to keep him up right for about 10 minutes after a meal or he will scream bloody murder.  So me and Jeremy have Daddy, Mommy, and Eldon time. We normally make crazy faces (the kind we swore we would never make), smile, and make fun of Eldon (all in a loving way)!   For instance he stares at the living room light like crazy!  He reminds me of the little alien dudes on Toy Story!  When Buzz and Woody crawl in the the toy machine and the aliens are explaining "The Claw",  I joke with Eldon and say "The Light"  in the same voice.  He even looks like the little aliens dudes when he does it.... Okay back to him laughing.  So last night we where talking to him and I don't even remember what we where telling him but Jeremy said "You are just like your Mommy!"  Eldon took his little fist and smacked Jeremy in the face accompanied by a little miniature chuckle!  It was adorable!    Tonight we where talking to him and Jeremy started telling him how he takes Bristol, his sidekick, with him everywhere and how he wants to start taking them both places with him and he is going to call them his "evil minions", that's when it happened.  Eldon got his little eye twinkle, gave us a big O'le smile and laughed.  It was so stinkin' cute, and HE KNEW IT!   I told him he was my favorite because he laughed for US!  The first time Bristol laughed, it was at the DOGS!  But now that they are both asleep, the are equally my FAVORITES!

I know you all have already seen this picture but I love it!  So here it is again.

we will find a way!!!!

Bristol went to her free trail at My Gym today.  She had a blast.  She was a little obsessive about playing on the slide to the point of not wanting to do the group activities!   It is a little bit of a bummer that I have to be so involved in the class because I can't do it alone with the two of them, but I am going to figure out a way for her to go on a regular basis because she had so much fun!  Next we are going to try out soccer because she loves to run around like a mad woman!

This was her at the chiropractor this morning!  Normally she gets adjust sitting up with the clicker thingy (yes that is is professional name) but today she wanted to lay down like mommy and daddy do!
mom do you really need to take a picture of this!

it is what I have a heart for.  It really breaks my heart when I see unhappy marriages.  God has blessed me so much with Jeremy, I wish everyone got this lucky.   There is nothing we don't talk about!   We also don't talk about each other in a negative way to anyone but each other, its what keeps us so strong. This man knows everything and I do mean everything about me and HE STILL LOVES ME! If I could do anything to change the world, I would go in to marriage and family counselling!  I truly believe with everything in me that having an amazing relationship with my husband is what is going to give our kids a foundation for success!

I know you all are probably getting tired of hearing about my wonderful husband but let me tell you he struck again!   I have been super busy lately and I have to say the house is taking a major hit!   I already hate cleaning so now with Fussy Junior's Fine Stitches I put it off!  The house has been so embarrassing the last couple days!  Yesterday I finally got the majority of the it cleaned the only thing I didn't get tackled was the kitchen and bathrooms!   My plan was to clean the kitchen after the kiddos went to bed but I didn't!  I chose to sew instead!  I knew I wouldn't get the opportunity to do it till tonight because Eldon had PT this am and I needed to run to Hobby Lobby, Target, and the post office.  So as I was about to leave the house at 9am, Jeremy was just walking in, he has been on night shift for the last 4 days.   I figured he would take a shower and pass out until I got home and then of course Bristol would go wake him up!  NOPE, the amazing man cleaned the kitchen for me!   I was so dreading coming home because 1. I don't feel very good because Colorado is attempting to hit all 4 seasons in a span of 2 hours and 2. I knew the kitchen was a disaster!   My husband truly is amazing and always knows when I need help!   So now instead of having to clean after the kiddo's go to bed, I will be exercising, that is if I can breath, and working on orders!

My week...

has been wonderful!   Jeremy has been off since Friday @ 3!   Normally he would have have had all day Friday off but he had safety training.  I have gotten so much sewing done this week!   How you ask?  Because I have an amazing husband.  He has been taking care of Miss Bristol all week so I can work when Eldon is napping!   I don't think he would have had much choice though.  Bristol Rose loves to spend time with her daddy!  She has major meltdowns when he goes in the garage without her!   She wakes up in the morning and makes him put on her shoes so that she can chase him anytime he tries to escape her!   So Bristol and Jeremy go out to play in the garage on a regular basis.  And on the amazing husband note, Jeremy made a space for my sewing stuff in the garage!   I have nowhere to sew in the house!  I cut all my fabric at the dinning room table!  And the only time I get a chance to sew is when Bristol's napping but if I start sewing it wakes her up.  So Jeremy moved me out to the garage!.   I am having so much fun with Fussy Junior's Fine Stitches!

3 months old....

Well technically it was yesterday!  Eldon is 3 months old already.  I can't believe it.   I feel like his newborn-ness slipped away before I even got to enjoy it.    When I was at mops on Thursday I was looking at all the newborn babies and then looking at Eldon.  I feel like I don't even remember his new phase and it wasn't that long ago.  I am sad that once again I let it slip away instead of enjoying it.  But now I am making up for lost time.  I am snuggling my grumpy little man as much as possible.

I wrote last month, that I haven't figured him out yet.  I feel like I am starting to understand him more now.  He loves to talk.  He is always telling you stories while you change his diaper.  They probably go somewhat like this in his language:
Eldon "You better get that diaper on quick!"
mommy "Your such a handsome guy, I love your smiles!"
Eldon "You might want to stop making retarded faces and get that diaper on me!"
Mommy "You are such a handsome little guy!"

I haven't gotten peed on in a while but I know that he is trying! :)  He also loves to talk to the pig on his bouncy seat.  Jeremy says he is telling the pig all about the cow he just met!   Most of the time he goes in there right away after I, the milk cow, feed him because of his reflux.   He loves watching his big sisters craziness.  If I put him on the floor to play he tracks Bristol all over the living room. Which by the way is not an easy task because she is always on the go.   Eldon definitely is not big into cuddling.  I am always trying to convince him to take a nap on my chest while I am laying on the couch and taking a nap myself.  He wants nothing to do with it.  The only thing that makes him happy is his swing.  He is OBSESSED with his swing.  He refuses to fall asleep any other way.  So we put him in his swing to fall asleep and night and then move him to his crib!   He definitely a character and a very picky little boy. But boy do I love this little guy.

I am done smiling for you! Get the camera out of my face!

 Mommy and Eldon

Do you really need to take a picture of my eyes right now?
This is the piggy on his bouncy seat!

So a couple weeks ago, in one of my post I mentioned that my business Fussy Junior's Fine Stitches made its first sell!   I was so excited!  Fast forward 14 day's and I have lots of orders!  Even though it crazy, taking care of Bristol and Eldon, cooking, trying to keep the house clean, and staying up till midnight to sew, I LOVE IT!  I wouldn't have it any other way!   It gives me a since of purpose outside of being a mommy.  Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being a mom.  It is the hardest, greatest, scariest, most frustrating, and BIGGEST rewarding job.   But at the same time I feel like I get swallowed up in it.    I needed something for me!  So my always amazing husband encouraged me to create Fussy Junior's as a "me" outlet!  And as always, he was so right!  He even came up with the name.   I wanted it to be something from both of my kiddos, so we took Miss Bristol's nickname, Fuss Fuss, and mixed it with Eldon's nickname, Junior Junior.   At the end of the day without them I wouldn't have my business!

Saturdays off...

They are a beautiful thing.  Jeremy only gets 2 weekends off a month and one of those is generally take up by drill.   Yesterday was his Saturday off!  The day was wonderful.  He watched the kiddo's so I could go out to breakfast with my Mops group and run to Target kid-free.  When I got home he went to the junk yard.  And we topped the day off with Dinner at the Churches Cafe and then Saturday night service.   I only go to Church when Jeremy can go with me.  My main reason for that is I don't know what I would do if both kid's needed me while in the nursery because they are in 2 different rooms.   Yes I am that evil parent who puts my kids in the nursery!   Bad mommy award right here!  But let me tell you, the Church nursery is way cleaner than my house most of the time and has less germs.  A toddler and 3 dogs do not make for a germ-free environment for Eldon.   It was a wonderful day.  It really felt like a good family day!  The only thing that would have made it better was if I could have slept in!

Proud mommy moment....

So today when I was dropping Bristol off in the nursery she made me very proud, yet very sad!   As usual I set her on the counter in front of me while I was signing her in and writing her name on her diapers.   I set her down so that I could dig out her sippy cup and off she goes to the nursery door.  As soon as it opened, she walked in and went straight to the play area.  Didn't even want a hug or a kiss goodbye!   I was so proud to be the mother of the happy-go-lucky toddler yet still a little sad that she didn't feel the need to say goodbye!  Definitely a proud mommy moment!

On top of the potty.....

Bristol peed on her potty!  Okay well she put the lid down, sat on it, and peed!  Haha!  Crazy kid.  Right before that she was sitting on it while holding blanket, I glad I took blanket away in time!  So yeah my baby girl, 1 day shy of 19 months, peed on her potty!  Goal for the next time, getting her pee in the actual potty!

On a funny note, well not so funny, when she got up, she slipped and fell in her own pee! She was happy though, because she got to take a bath because of it!

running shoes...

I never thought I would get so excited over new running shoes.  In high school, I HATED to exercise.  I only had to do one semister of PE and then I got to elect out because I was a cheerleader.   I still hate doing exercise unless its fun.  For the first 3 years of our marriage Jeremy tried to get me to run with him!  He loves to run!  He would run 20 miles if he had the time.  I never understood it!  I mean who seriously wants to run!   WELL after Bristol was born, I needed to exercise.  It had to include her because gyms around her don't except babies into the nursery until 6 months!    So I decided to buy a treadmill.  I figured it was something I could do while Miss Fuss Fuss slept. So I ran on the treadmill for a couple weeks and then finally decided to use my jogging stroller for what it was intended for!   Turns out I love running outside.  I love the feel of my lungs burning, in a good way, from fresh air.  I love the fact that I am getting wonderful sun rays that hopefully will take away my casper-ness.  But most of all I love to run outdoors because it is something me and Jeremy can do together.  So today we placed the kids in the stroller and went for run.  Mind you it was only 30 minutes but give me a break I have had 2 kids in under 2 years!  Come this fall WE are going to do a 5K and I couldn't be more excited!  But first we both needed new running shoes!  So we went to Dick's tonight and got new running shoes!  I can't wait to break them in tomorrow.

Peanut Butter and home videos

I swear we go through way to much peanut butter.  I just bought a large jar of peanut butter last Friday and yesterday I had to buy more.   Hopefully this 40 oz jar will last a little more than a week!

Now for the videos....

just my thoughts...

A lot has been going on these last couple days.  As you all already read , I had a wonderful day out on Tuesday.  Wednesday Jeremy was off work so I got a lot of sewing done.    Yesterday was Mops and as soon as I got home I went back to working on my new bag style!  Which came out just like I imagined.  I took it for a test drive today and it was perfect.   Yesterday afternoon when we got home, Bristol started running a middle temperature and she started having disgusting green snot again.  So I called and got her an appointment for this morning.   Well its a good thing that I called, Fussy girl has a double ear infection.   I felt really bad about this because I had a doctors appointment this afternoon.  SHE did amazing though!   Of course Eldon just sleeps through everything.  That boy would sleep all day if I let him!

Today was a really good day!   I woke up this morning dreading having to take 2 kids to the 2 different doctors appointment and Target without a stroller all on my own but I have to say it really wasn't that bad.  Its one of those times that I feel like I am one day going to get a handle on this 2 kid thing.

To top off our wonderful day, I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather we are having.  SO I strapped the kids in the jogging stroller and went for a jog/stroll around the neighborhood.

Oh and another thing that made this day wonderful.... Fussy Junior's Fine Stitches made its first sell!   What a wonderful moment that was for me!  SOMEONE likes my creativity enough to pay for it!
