Bad parent award!!!!

Yesterday we went to a BBQ and Bristol encountered stairs for the first time!    She also conquered these stairs.    So here we are all sitting around talking and I thought Bristol was just on the other side of the bar where I couldn't see her but she was being awfully quite (which is never a good sign).   So ask Jeremy what she is doing, because he should have been able to see her,  and he was like shes not here so he walked into the living room to find her and she was no where!!!!!   Well she CLIMBED the stairs.    There are like 15 stairs.   She was only out of our site for about 2 minutes.    I am so thankful she didn't fall!   I am also bummed because neither of us thought to take a picture of the little turkey!   So we get the bad parent of the year award!!!!

Fall!

It is October 6th and finally starting to feel like fall here in the Springs.    The wind is blowing and the temperature is cool but my favorite part is the smell of fall!  Either this weekend or next we are going to take Bristol to the pumpkin patch so she can go on her first hayride and be amazed at the pumpkins the size of her!

Our big girl!

I know, I know, you have heard it a thousand times!   Last night we where laying in bed scrolling through pictures of Miss Bristol on my phone.  From the most recent one of her eating spaghetti to the first picture of her and daddy taken at 8:52am on September 7th 2009.    She has grown so much.    Recently she has become a cuddle bug again and I am loving it.  I was looking at a similar picture of how she likes to cuddle that was taken when she was a week old.   She only went from my shoulder to the top of my chest in that picture now on the other hand she doesn't even fit on me anymore.  Her little feet hang over.   I think she is the cutest thing in the world right now and definitely a lot more fun than when all she wanted to do was sleep.   But I have to say I do miss those days sometimes.    Although right now it is so much fun to watch her waddle around the house, dance, ride her lion, and everything else that I am forgetting right now!

Another thing I hadn't realized was how much hair our child has these days! When she was first born she had some hair but now the child has a mop!  And its as unruly as a mop too!
